Scott Glaser, O.D.
Optometrist
Professional Bio
Dr. Scott Glaser attended Minnesota State University Mankato on a football scholarship and received a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. During his graduate school days he married his wife, Tanja, who was in the Dental Hygiene program at MSU.
Dr. Glaser then attended the Indiana University School of Optometry and graduated in the spring of 2000. While in Bloomington, Dr. Glaser was the President of the IU Optometric Student Association. After graduating Beta Sigma Kappa, Dr. Glaser purchased an existing practice in Hutchinson and has practiced there ever since.
In August 2014, Dr. Glaser joined the Southwest Eye Care group. Being in a group has allowed Dr. Glaser and his staff to expand care hours and offer more convenient locations to their patients. When visiting Dr. Glaser, you can expect to be given a full picture of your situation, all your options for treatment, and a professional recommendation regarding next steps.

Why I'm an Optometrist
I am an optometrist because I had a knack for biology in school, and I get a great sense of satisfaction improving someone’s life by helping them see better - or continue to see at all, in some cases.
