Why I'm an Optometrist

Vision is one sense that I cannot imagine life without, and giving a patient the resources, guidance and care they need to continue their life is a gift I cherish every day. Optometry has a variety of paths, and aiding patients in not only their vision, but systemic health is an exciting challenge I welcome to continue my education daily. Optometry also allows a good amount of face-to-face interaction, which I thoroughly enjoy.
