About the IT Systems Administrator:

·Serve as the first point of contact for colleagues seeking technical assistance with applications, connectivity, hardware issues and general IT support

  • Lead activities related to installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of all IT software and hardware systems

  • Travel to and provide onsite support to regional facilities as necessary

  • Identify, research, design, and implement technology best practices in support of internal practice operations and external patient services

  • Proactively identify and suggest technology improvements and work collaboratively to implement approved requests

  • Support infrastructure and security requirements in collaboration with third party service providers

  • Work with HIPAA Compliance Officer to perform annual security risk analysis

  • Collaborate with credit card processor and EMR vendor to perform and monitor PCI compliance

  • Maintain and update anti-virus software

  • Maintain inventory of technology systems, hardware, and standards

  • Manage and track technology budget and approvals

  • Manage basic user administration (modify/add/change/delete)

  • Manage and troubleshoot phone system

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Three years related optical experience or customer service experience preferred

You meet these requirements:

  • 4-6 years of general IT systems administration and support

  • Experience administering Google Application Suite and Microsoft Office 365

  • Experience administering and configuring current desktop versions of Microsoft Windows

  • Experience with basic installation, configuration, and general troubleshooting for software and hardware

  • Experience with basic installation, configuration, and troubleshooting network equipment

  • Experience with basic installation, configuration, and troubleshooting printer and phone systems

  • Experience with basic installation, configuration, and troubleshooting third party applications

  • Demonstrated ability to be a confident, dependent, detail-oriented team player

 

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour
