What you’ll be doing:
Developing close working partnerships and build relationships with supported O.D.’s and Clinic Leaders. As a Regional Leader, facilitate process improvements and growth initiatives with full profit and loss responsibility. Regional travel is a must, as a consistent presence in the practices that you support is a critical component to continuous success.
About the Regional Operations Leader role:

Responsible for ensuring each clinic is providing an exceptional patient experience.

Collaborate with leadership team to plan, develop, and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives to ensure quality health care and service, uniformity, and consistency between clinics.

Analyze clinic records and reports to identify operational issues or trends, or progress in meeting performance measures.

Analyze and monitor regional clinic operations, such as patient flow, scheduling, appointments, and staff-to-physician ratios; evaluates and adjusts staff assignments. Negotiates changes in physician schedules to meet clinic demands; resolves and responds to concerns from patients and staff.

Support daily office operations within the region when necessary, including troubleshooting and hands-on assistance.

Ensures all operating policies and procedures are followed at the highest level to include merchandising and store presentation, timely and accurate implementation of approved marketing programs, events and promotions, accurate completion of all sales transactions, and utilization of all sales strategies and resources.

Ensures maintenance of clinic facilities and medical equipment and arranges for fixed asset replacement and repairs.

Consults with and seeks advice from the Medical Director/CEO regarding medical compliance and protocols.

Achieve business goals, revenue, and profitability objectives through a respectful, forward thinking, and motivational style.

Builds talent by attracting, hiring, developing, and retaining top talent through proactive succession planning efforts.
-
Providing training and development support to ensure all staff of supported practices demonstrate knowledge of business model, operating procedures, and protocols.

Support the achievement of performance targets & budgeted goals.
-
Provide mentorship to direct reports by coaching and guiding them to deliver the highest level of service to their team and patients. Holds direct reports accountable for goals and job responsibilities.

Represent and communicate Southwest Eye Care’s mission, vision, and core values to patients and employees, vendors, and third parties.

Consistently follow company-wide processes to maintain brand consistency.

Collaborate with CEO periodically to discuss employee issues and operations of the clinic.

Compose, schedule, and deliver 90-day and annual employee reviews.
-
Follow and enforce protocols to ensure risk management and safety.
-
Build and foster an engaged, effective team through ongoing training, coaching, and development.

Create an inclusive workplace culture by treating all employees and patients with respect.

Attend weekly company leadership trainings, including our annual Leader Retreat.

Travel to other offices as required.

Perform other duties as assigned.
What we need from you:
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
-
2+ years’ experience in multi-unit retail operations management in retail or healthcare industry.
-
5+ years of management experience.
-
Profit and loss responsibility with the ability to interpret and act upon financial statements.
-
Proven career progression with positions of increased responsibility.
-
Strong verbal and written communication.
-
Ability to travel up to 75%.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
